Evaluation of studies and teaching as well as the monitoring of internal university processes are central topics in the ‘Increasing student success’ project. The analysis of the university's existing evaluation system for ‘blind spots’ and the corresponding completion in the form of university-wide surveys and concepts are a focal point.

In addition, there is intensive cooperation with the Office for Quality in Teaching and Learning and the respective programme members in the system accreditation procedures of the University of Apllied Science Kaiserslautern. The project's portfolio also includes dealing with individual research questions from departments and degree programmes.

The following smaller projects have already been or are currently being worked on:

  • Short study ‘Transition and Thesis’ commissioned by the Architecture programme at the University of Apllied Science Kaiserslautern
  • Collaboration in the system accreditation procedures (e.g. by collecting student data) of the Computer Science degree programmes, the Logistics degree programmes and the Medical and Biosciences degree programmes at the University of Apllied Science Kaiserslautern
  • Accompanying evaluation of the engineering degree-oriented qualification programme (IAQ)
  • Support and co-design of a business intelligence module as part of the establishment of a university-wide campus management system in a cross-university working group with five other universities from Rhineland-Palatinate
  • Participation in the university's internal ‘Evaluation Working Group’
  • Development and implementation of the two survey formats ‘meet and eat - students’ and ‘meet and eat - departmental assistants’ with the aim of increasing studyability, together with the Vice President for Studies, Teaching and Internationalisation, Prof. Dr. Albert Meij.
