For the best possible start to your studies, it is especially important to attend preparatory courses and introductory events for the first semester once you have completed your enrollment [Immatrikulation].

The preparatory courses will prepare you for the demands of your course. Due to its importance as a foundation subject, most of the courses offered are in mathematics. Here, you can refresh your memory of what you learned in school, and at the same time get an overview of what basic subjects you should already have “down”. However, the preparatory courses are also a great way to get to know your fellow students.
