The Campus Adventure is a 2D metaverse in the style of an MMORPG game from the previous century and was developed by students during the coronavirus pandemic to give students, prospective students and guests a bit of that ‘campus feeling’ again and to meet friends from any location. In addition to exploring the campus maps, chats, ad-hoc video conferences and participation in online events are also supported. Members of the university can also contribute their own rooms.

The Competence Centre for Digitisation and Media supports the continuous digitisation process at the University of Apllied Science Kaiserslautern, conducts training courses and tutorials as part of the New Forms of Teaching and Learning and advises on digital projects and plans.

The SoliD project - ‘Learning confidently in the digital world’ - aims to enable students and teaching staff at the University of Apllied Science Kaiserslautern to find their way through the jungle of digital learning and teaching opportunities.
