Virtual Design is about creating experiences upon the disruption of technology. We research and design visions for the connected age.

The Virtual Design program is distinguished by its diversity. Students gain a broad insight into different professional fields and have the opportunity to specialize further in their studies.
Video games on the Internet, and especially games on mobile devices in the form of apps, have become an important industry in recent years. Students are well prepared for this by receiving individualized attention.
Hollywood-level film production. Compositing, animation and special effects have become an integral part of modern cinema. The Virtual Design course teaches the basics in these areas.
3D visualization is becoming increasingly important in architecture, advertising and product design. Using high-end equipment such as 3D scanners, 3D printers and 360° cameras, students learn to work with the latest industry standards right from the start.
Interactive applications and virtual spaces will play an increasingly important role in the future. In our real-time laboratory, the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern offers the necessary space to give free rein to creativity and innovation.
