Admission procedure

 

Assessment criteria:

  • Professional aptitude: Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Architecture with an overall grade of at least 2.6
  • Personal aptitude: high motivation, special commitment,
  • Portfolio: a suitable selection of your own projects

The online applicationfor the Master's program in Architecture, as well as all documents necessary for the decision on your professional and personal suitability, must be received by the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern by the application deadline of the respective semester. (Stamp of receipt corresponds to the deadline).

 

Admission documents:

In addition to your online application, please send the following documents by post to the Kaiserslautern Registrar's Office.

  • Letter of motivation (approx. one DIN A4 page)
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Passport photo (with name on the back)
  • Certificates in the form of officially certified copies (Bachelor's/Diploma, school, job references, further education and training)


Please send the following documents as separate pdfs via e-mail by 15.07.2024 to nicolas.vazquez-herrmann(at)hs-kl(dot)de:

  1. Digital portfolio with work samples (a selection of your own projects) File size should not exceed 15 MB!
  2. Letter of motivation and CV

Pay attention to both the content and the form of presentation.

After your documents have been checked, you may be invited to an interview.

Master's application interview

The selection interview is intended to determine the applicant's personal suitability for the Master's degree program in Architecture.

Personal aptitude should be demonstrated by a pronounced interest in the Master's degree program in Architecture, a correspondingly high level of motivation and particular commitment. A letter of motivation and work samples form the basis for the interview.
