The course program

People will not be able to get past your work. All the more so if you have completed your Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern in seven semesters.

Architects plan, design and manage people's living environments. They plan not only homes and residential buildings for people, but also all the other buildings that surround us. We at the Department of Building and Design at the University of Kaiserslautern want to give you all the knowledge and skills you need to design this living environment imaginatively and responsibly. With the Bachelor of Arts degree, you will acquire a first academic degree that qualifies you for a profession and makes you an attractive specialist for architecture and planning offices, in building administration or construction management, in the private sector and in public administration.

As an architecture graduate with a bachelor's degree, you can and must do many things. You are a creative designer and detail-oriented constructor. Always practical, always trying to reconcile what is desirable in design with what is possible and reasonable.

You are always working for people. You are responsible for their built environment. You are an expert in design and its implementation. You will keep an eye on ecology and always remember to use energy effectively and sparingly. Again, we will give you the tools you need. Then you can look forward to a challenging and satisfying career. In Germany, in Europe, worldwide.
