Specialised professorships with a family component

The University of Apllied Science Kaiserslautern would like to support research-active professors at the university who are significantly involved in family responsibilities through the priority professorships with a family component. People who take on family care responsibilities sometimes lack the time to advance their research. This is where the so-called family professorships come in and create a balance: in order to better reconcile teaching, research and family, three individuals will be given the opportunity to hire a person to take on teaching duties or the opportunity to award teaching assignments for the duration of the project (until 31 December 2028). This will free up time that can be used for research projects.
