After moving from Russia to Germany in 1999, Alexey Tarasov studied Physics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, including an exchange semester at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
His studies were supported by a scholarship from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation.
He obtained his PhD in Experimental Physics
