Dear students,

since English is indispensable in today's engineering world, the subject languages "Technical English" (Bachelor's Degree Courses: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics) and "Technical English and Business English" (Bachelor programs: Energy Efficient Systems and Industrial Engineering) are taught in the Department of Applied Engineering. In order to optimally prepare you for the international professional world, "Technical English" is offered as a compulsory elective in the advanced area in the higher semesters.

For the same reason, "Technical English" is also taught in the Bachelor's programs in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design and Virtual Design in the Department of Building and Design with the specialization in Civil Engineering.
