The course program
If the ceiling falls on your head, it doesn't necessarily have to be because you've neglected your social contacts a bit. If you had earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in civil engineering from Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, you would know why the ceiling came down. Or you wouldn't have moved in at all.
Civil engineers are the natural scientists among designers and planners. You are enthusiastic about technology, want to know what forces are at work, and enjoy understanding complicated dynamics in an elegant formula. The abstract world of numbers is something very concrete to you. We by no means assume that you are a calculating character if you calculate exactly what you will build, renovate or maintain with consideration for the health or wallet of those around you.
Civil engineers are sought-after specialists in the construction industry, in engineering and project management offices, in state or municipal planning, monitoring and administration departments, in the real estate industry, in professional associations and industrial companies.
After all, you know what you are doing because you have calculated exactly beforehand and presented your ideas precisely. They are familiar with building materials, know how to use them or work on developing completely new ones. When it comes to scheduling and costs, there is no such thing as a casual “let’s see” for a civil engineer. Because, see above, civil engineers know what they are doing after completing the seven-semester bachelor's degree program at HS Kaiserslautern.
