Visit to Nanoscribe

On July 30, 2026, the 3D-Life team visited Nanoscribe GmbH in Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen. The focus of the visit was on printing test structures, which are to be reproduced and compared once the equipment intended for the project is up and running.

In addition to practical insights into the printing process, the software and materials used, as well as the preparation and post-processing of the printed structures, were presented and discussed. The group also discussed potential applications, open questions, and ideas for designing future experiments. A tour of the production areas provided insights into the manufacturing of the 3D printing systems.

Delivery of the machine intended for 3D-Life is scheduled for November 2026. An application-oriented workshop is planned to follow.
