Starting Your Career with a Disability, Chronic Illness or Neurodivergence through myAbility

TIPS FOR AN INCLUSIVE CAREER

The job platform myAbility.jobs is the largest inclusive job platform in the German-speaking region. Its Career Guide provides expert advice on topics such as job searches, job interviews, application documents, starting a career, and working with a disability, chronic illness, or neurodivergence.

The advice is based on many years of experience supporting both job seekers and employers.

ACCESSIBLE CAREER PROGRAMME

Every spring, the myAbility Talent® Programme offers professional coaching and opportunities to connect directly with inclusive companies that value diversity as a strength.

The programme provides a safe and supportive environment for participants to get to know potential employers personally and on an equal footing, with a focus on skills, qualifications, and experience. It also offers an opportunity to openly discuss individual requirements for an accessible and suitable workplace related to a disability, chronic illness, or neurodivergence.

Further information about the programme and the application process is available at www.myAbilityTalent.org, including contact details for the myAbility Talent Team.

Interested students are encouraged to register via the website as early as possible, and no later than the end of the preceding year. Registration opens at the beginning of the winter semester. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
