Application with direct university entrance qualification

As a rule, you have a direct higher education entrance qualification (HZB) for studying in Germany if you...

  • have obtained your higher education entrance qualification in an EU/EEA member state or
  • have completed your Abitur at a German school abroad or
  • have already studied in your home country.

You can check whether you have a direct HZB for Germany with your school or university degree in the admissions database of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

If you have obtained your higher education entrance qualification outside Germany, you must apply to Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences via uni-assist e.V., the employment and service centre for international student applications.
