From the fourth semester you can choose between the following specializations:

Graduates of medical informatics are active in a wide variety of fields and can be used diversely. These areas include:
- IT service providers, software and database providers,
- manufacturers of medical equipment,
- health sector (e.g. hospitals, medical practices, health insurers, medical care centres, pharmaceutical companies, consultancy firms, health agencies),
- research and development (universities, pharmaceutical companies, research institutes),
- Self-employment (management consultants, programmers, project managers).
The average starting salary is between €3,200 and €3,800.
