The overall goal of the iNgREEN project is to develop a particularly sustainable electric motor. The aim is to implement new approaches in the design process and new design concepts that are detached from conventional electric drives. The core element will be a synchronous reluctance machine in axial flux design. Through the careful selection of materials, topology, and operating strategy, the ecological footprint of the drive is to be minimized from manufacture to use to disposal.
